Let it snow, let it snow, let it...

snow.

Except it's not snowing.

The trees are almost completely bare...

The water in the small trough has a layer of ice each morning (a thin layer but ice nonetheless).

And Murphy and Tucker's summer sleekness has changed to soft fuzziness as their winter coats have grown in.

It's time for snow...

We're ready.

Fires on cold winter evenings...



Sledding down "suicide hill"...



The cozy cocooned in feeling looking out and seeing the snow drifting down...



Fall has been nice, it's my favorite season... but a little snow mixed in with these sunny days would be nice.

It's time for it to look like this...

Annual Weather Summary: November 2013 to October 2014


Winter will be much snowier than normal, with near-normal rainfall. The snowiest periods will be in late November, early and mid-December, mid- and late January, mid-February, and early March. Temperatures will be below normal in the north and near normal in the south, with the coldest periods in mid-December, mid- and late January, and in early to mid-February.
