Today is the anniversary of the day M came home to us. Many adoptive families celebrate "Gotcha Day" ... the day they adopted their child. We celebrate the day M, and later R, came into our home... and our family, rather than the day everything became legal. (Because it took so long to finalize the adoptions, the going-to-court part was just a formality... they'd already been members of the family for a long time before we signed on the dotted line!) Anyway, today is M's anniversary... the day this little wild man (seen on his first birthday!) ... arrived to shake things up around here a little bit. It's been a wild ride, but a good one... Happy Anniversary M!! (And yes, I do believe God has a sense of humor.... M came to us on April Fool's Day!)
