I took R to the doctor today for a check up. The red sign in the corner of the receptionist’s window says:
”Please keep your mask on at all times. Thank you for your cooperation.”
I guess that refers to everyone except the receptionist. 😩 (That is not a solid window between the receptionist desk and the waiting room, just a piece of plexiglass suspended from the ceiling… plenty of air can flow around it.)
This comes just one day after Cody’s vet visit, during which our (now former) vet refused to mask, or let his assistant mask, despite my asking and despite his clinic being considered a “medical setting” in which masks are required (per the CDC). He even told me “Masks don’t work anyway.”
I’m sorry, that’s just scary stupid coming from a physician.
Needless to say I took my dog, my kids, and my money and left.
